Koakuma, the ruby-haired little devil of Touhou fame who never really had a name, so she took what she was and made a name out of it. Had a brief stint in Embodiment of Scarlet Devil as a stage four midboss, but she's mostly known for being that shut-in's helper around the massive library of magic they watch over. How she ended up in the tavern is anyone's guess - one can assume that the tavern's rather bizarre time-space properties turned up in some dusty tome or another. You never know.
Occupation
Koakuma is a student to just about any form of magic you can think of, no matter how obscure. As such, she's constantly trying to refine her spellwork, even when hilarious hiccups happen and things explode. Three steps forward, one step back - it doesn't matter, because the net result is progress!
Attitude
Despite being the assistant to a person that doesn't get out much (or at all) and mostly concerns herself with books, Koakuma is a very laid-back sort of person. It takes a lot to make her angry, which is probably a good thing. You probably don't want to piss off someone who knows a million-and-one ways to set you on fire.
